NDA 1 2022- Notification, Exam Dates, Eligibility, Application
NDA 1 2022– UPSC will release the NDA 1 notification 2022 on December 22. The complete NDA 1 2022 notification will be uploaded at upsc.gov.in. Class 12 students will be able to access the NDA 1 application form 2022 in online mode only. The last date to apply for UPSC NDA 1 2022 is January 11. Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) will conduct the National Defence Academy & Naval Academy Examination (I) 2022 in the month of April 10, 2022.
NDA & NA Exam (I) 2022 will be held in pen and paper mode for admission to the Army, Navy and Air Force wings of the NDA for the 146th Course, and for the 108th Indian Naval Academy Course (INAC) commencing from January 2023. NDA 1 2022 Notification
The official NDA 2022 notification contains complete details about the exam including the NDA 2022 exam pattern, eligibility, syllabus, and more. UPSC will release the NDA 1 notification 2022 on December 22. The notification will be released in pdf format online on upsc.gov.in.
NDA 1 2022 Vacancies
The details of NDA 1 vacancies 2022 will be issued with the notification. The approximate number of posts to be filled are mentioned below:—
- National Defence Academy- 342 (208 for Army, 42 for Navy and 92 for Air Force)
- Naval Academy- 50 (10+2 Cadet Entry Scheme)

NDA 1 2022 Eligibility Criteria
Candidates have to fulfill all terms and conditions listed in the NDA 2022 Eligibility criteria before filling the forms. No ineligible candidate will be allowed to apply for the UPSC NDA 1 2022, hence, read all the conditions carefully before filling the registration form.
Nationality- Only Indian candidates who have a valid ID proof of Indian nationality are eligible for NDA 2022 Examination.
NDA 1 2022 Age Limit, Marital Status & Sex– The unmarried male candidates, who are born after January 2, 2003, and before January 1, 2006, can apply for the NDA exam 2022.
Education Qualification
- For Army wing of National Defence Academy – Candidates who have qualified 12th Class/ Intermediate Exam or equivalent examination conducted by a State Education Board or a University can apply for Army Wing of NDA.
- For Air Force and Naval Wings of National Defence Academy and for the 10+2 Cadet Entry Scheme at the Indian Naval Academy – Candidates who have qualified 12th Class/ Intermediate Exam or equivalent examination with Physics and Mathematics conducted by a State Education Board or a University.
- Candidates appearing in the qualifying examination can also apply for UPSC NDA 1 2022 Exam.
NDA 1 2022 Application Form
The online application form for NDA 1 2022 will be released on NDA official website- upsc.gov.in, . Incomplete and application forms of ineligible candidates will not be accepted by the Commission. Only online mode of submitting the NDA 1 application form will be available. Hence, candidates are suggested to either click the given link (to be provided after its official release) or visit the official website. - Go to the Official website of UPSC or click the above-provided link to apply online for UPSC NDA & NA (1) Exam 2022.
- Click the link “UPSC Online Applications” available on the left side of the home page.
- Select “Online Application NDA & NA (I) 2022 Exam”
- Fill all the required details in the online NDA 1 2022 application form and upload a scanned image of a recent photograph along with the signature.
- Now, submit the application fee of Rs. 100/- either by cash or by using net banking facility or by using any Visa/ Master Credit/ Debit Card.
- Take print copy of the Confirmation page for further use
NDA 1 2022 Selection Procedure
Eligible and suitable candidates will be short-listed after evaluating their performance in the written examination followed by SSB Test/Interview.

- The question papers of NDA & NA Exam 2022 will comprise Objective Type Question and will be set bilingually i.e. in Hindi & in English.
- There will be negative marking for marking incorrect answers.
- Only Black ball point pen should be used while making any entry in the answer sheet.
- The candidates are not allowed to use a calculator or Mathematical or logarithmic table.
SSB Test/ Personal Interview- Candidates who qualify the written examination with minimum NDA Cut off marks will be called to appear in SSB Test/ Interview. The SSB test will be of 900 Marks

The question in this section will be asked on different sections that are Physics, Chemistry, General Science, Social Studies, Geography and Current Event.
NDA 1 2022 Admit Card
The eligible candidates whose application forms will be accepted before the last date will be able to download the e-admit card. NDA 1 admit card 2022 will be released 03 weeks prior to the commencement of the NDA 1 Exam 2022 i.e. in March 2022. NDA 1 Admit Card will be made available on the official website of UPSC’s website. Candidates should note that no admit card will be sent through the post. Candidates should have their Registration ID and date of birth details to download the admit card.
NDA 1 2022 Result
The result of NDA 1 2022 Exam will be uploaded on the main web portal of UPSC, in the form of .pdf file. The written result of NDA 1 Exam 2022 will be declared in the month of August 2022. Candidates have to check their roll number in thee NDA 1 Result file. Only short-listed candidates will be called to appear in the SSB Test/ Interview.
NDA 1 Cut off 2022
Candidates should attain the minimum NDA 2022 cutoff marks to clear the written test & interview. The final cutoff marks will be released after the result declaration.

NDA 1 2022 Preparation Tips
- Read the newspaper to get the hold on the General Ability section.
- Solve at least 10 previous year’s papers to get an idea of the type of question and mark distribution.
- Prepare all topics of the syllabus and make short notes.
- Revise the syllabus as many times as you can.
- Make a proper study schedule and stick to it in order to cover the complete syllabus
