AFCAT 2021 Result
AFCAT(2) results are expected to be announced in September. AFCAT (1) results were announced on 1st March 2021. For checking the result, candidates have to visit their website and enter their login credentials such as email ID and password, and captcha code.
Candidates who will clear the exam by obtaining the minimum qualifying score will be called for the Air Force Selection Board (AFSB) interview. The fully updated final merit list will be prepared based on the total marks acquired in the online exam and interview. The online test of AFCAT(2) will be conducted from 28th-30th august 2021.

After declaring the AFCAT exam result, the list of candidates who attain the minimum qualifying marks in the exam is prepared by IAF. The selected candidates will appear for the AFSB interview at one of the AFSB centres.
Those selected need to choose the preferred AFSB date and interview after the declaration of the result and have to download the AFSB interview call letter.

Candidates who appeared for AFCAT online exam must follow the below steps to check the result

- Enter the registration details, Email ID, password, and captcha code
- The status of the result will appear on the screen
- Candidates should look for more information regarding the testing process in the notifications section
- Candidates who are qualified should proceed with testing as per IAF guidelines
- Lastly, download the result and take out its printout.
AFCAT 2021 Cutoff Marks-
AFCAT(2) cutoff will be announced along with the result. Cutoff involves the minimum qualifying marks scored by the candidates to be considered qualified for the exam and become eligible for the further rounds of the selection process that is AFSB interview round.
The cutoff marks are declared for both AFCATas well as EKT(for technical and ground duty branches). This year AFCAT(1) cut-off marks are known to be 165 and EKT is 30.
Previous year cut-off marks-
The cutoff marks are decided based on the total number of vacant posts, level of difficulty, the number of candidates who appeared for the exam, and the cutoff marks of previous years. Let’s see the cutoff marks of the previous year, that is 2020 and compare them with the cutoff of the AFCAT(1) exam. So that, we can get a rough idea of what could be the cutoff for AFCAT(2), 2021

They will be given out of 300 in the AFCAT exam. Also, will be out of 150 in the EKT exam. If we see the cutoff for AFCAT 2020 for both phases 1 and 2, it was less than AFCAT(1) 2021, maybe due to pandemics fewer candidates appeared or the level of difficulty was high, any possibility can be there.
Well, for the AFCAT(2) based on AFCAT (1), if we see there will not be much difference in the cutoff. And if we talk about EKT cutoff, in the year 2020 it was more than AFCAT(1), as the EKT contains questions on technical branches that are Mechanical, Electronics, and Computer.

How to check the AFCAT 2021 cut-off marks?

- Log on to the official website of AFCAT www.afcat.cdac.in
- Click on the candidate login page on the home page
- Select on the AFCAT 02/2021 cycle choice
