Union Public Service Commission or UPSC National Defence Academy, NDA and Naval Academy, NA or UPSC NDA & NA II Exam 2021 application process for women candidates has started from today-September 24, 2021. Candidates should note that they can apply for the exam till October 8, 2021. Candidates can check for more important updates on-upsconline.nic.in.
Candidates should note that only unmarried women candidates are allowed for the posts. The decision to allow women to appear for NDA and NA Exam 2021 has been taken after the Supreme Court or SC recently ruled out the exemption of women in the November 14, 2021 exam. The SC bench headed by Justice Sanjay Kishan Kaul mentioned that the admission of woman candidates cannot be postponed. According to the official notice released by UPSC, no application would be accepted beyond October 8, 2021. UPSC NDA & NA Exam 2021: Steps to Apply
- Go to the official website-upsconline.nic.in.
- Click on the link that says, “National Defence Academy & Naval Academy Examination (II), 2021 – Only for Women Candidates.”
- A new window would open up. Candidates should note that they have to register with their details such as name, address, email id. Candidates can make the payment online and upload necessary documents such as photograph, signature, and other details.
- Candidates would be given the option to select the exam centre of their preference. Candidates should keep a copy of the application form for future use.
According to UPSC, women do not have to pay the application fee to appear for UPSC NA & NA Exam 2021. Candidates should keep a check on the official website for more details. Further, candidates should note that the allotment of centre would be based on a first come first serve basis. Once the capacity of the centre is full, it would be frozen. Candidates should fill the application form early to avoid any last-minute rush.
