1. Flying Branch
The candidates who want to apply for the AFCAT 2026 Flying Branch should be one of these:
- A candidate should be a holder of a Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline with Physics and Mathematics at the 10+2 level, OR
- A recognized university should have awarded the candidate a B.E./B.Tech degree.
- Minimum marks requirement: 60%.
2. Ground Duty (Technical Branch)
Aeronautical Engineering (Electronics – AE (L))
Eligibility criteria for candidates:
- 12th std. with Physics & Mathematics with at least 60% marks
- 4-year Engineering/Technology degree or Integrated PG in corresponding field
Aeronautical Engineering (Mechanical – AE (M)) - 10+2 with Physics & Mathematics (60% marks)
- B.Tech degree (4 years) in Mechanical, Industrial, Aeronautical Engineering, or other allied disciplines.
3. Ground Duty (Non-Technical Branch)
Administration & Logistics
Bachelor’s Degree in any stream with minimum 60% marks
Physical Standards:
Male: 157.5 cm
Female: 152 cm
Accounts Branch
B.Com degree with minimum 60% marks

Male: 157.5 cm

Education Branch
MBA, MCA, MA, or M.Sc. with minimum 50% marks

4. Meteorology Entry
Must have a Master’s Degree in any discipline from a recognized university
5. NCC Special Entry – Flying Branch
Candidates must possess:
NCC Air Wing Senior Division “C” Certificate
